Vintage Tractor Pulling Nationals in Louisville, KY November 17-18, 2018
On Saturday & Sunday November 17-18, 2018, the Kentucky Fair and Expo Center will be packed to the brim with vintage tractors and trucks all in attendance for the Vintage Tractor Pulling Nationals.
This event will bring competitors from all over the United States and Canada. We have competitors coming from New Hampshire to Washington state! Attendees will be able to see over 500 vintage tractors spanning decades of pulling history. “Louisville has never seen an event quite like this,” said event organizer, Tom McConnell. “The fairgrounds have seen its share of tractor pulling with the world-famous National Farm Machinery Show Championship Pull. The Vintage Pulling Nationals showcases the history and grass-roots of pulling, where the sport came from.”
The two-day event will be held November 17-18, 2018 in Freedom Hall at the KY Fair & Expo Center. The vintage and antique tractors will begin at 10AM with three tracks of competition. For the first time in Louisville. fans can see tractors from the agricultural past, not seen in Louisville since the 1970s: Johnny Poppers, Farmalls, Allis Chalmers, Massey Harris, Olivers, and Minneapolis Molines!
The Main event will begin at 7PM and will feature a continuation of the antique and vintage pulling including muscle tractors from the 60s and 70s in addition to more exotic classes. These include 1985 and older: Light Limited Super Stock tractors, Super Stock 2WD trucks,
Super Stock 4WD trucks, multi-engine modified tractors aircraft engines, jet tractors, and odd combinations of engines). And of course, we will be featuring the Baddest Antique Tractor in the World Competition.
Alongside the featured tractor pulls, there will be a farm toy collector’s show, a “Moonshine Garden”, a huge vendors’ area (featuring clothing, jewelry, and arts) and pedal pulls for the kids.
